REVIEWTucked away at 34th and St Paul, Tamber's is a great find for Western and Indian cuisine alike. The perfect setting for casual dining with friends and family with mixed favorites. Upon entering Tambers Restaurant, you get an upscale diner feeling with the traditional diner motif. At first glance, the menu has typical diner food choices – steak subs, sandwiches, salads, etc, but once you turn the page, you will find a host of Indian food choices. We started our meal with a diner tradition – fried zucchini. Perfectly battered and fried to perfection, these crispy veggies were a wonderful start to a great meal. The two of us enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Massala as our entrée over Basmati rice and orders of Onion Kulcha and Roti. The Chicken Tikka Massala was enjoyable for a quick dinner, but make sure you save some for leftovers because the next meal brings out the Indian spices even more. The Roti was a bit tough and oily, just a bit overcooked. All in all, it was a surprisingly satisfying Indian meal. | ||
